In reply to Dan. Grønland in general, no. But there are a few crime hotspots that are within Grønland where theft and muggings are relatively common, near the Central Station and Bus Station. This is a confluence of several factors, many often drunk victims on way home, semi-professional criminals knowing easy marks, many people, but still many suffiently secluded spots.

Heard rumors the crime rate is very high in this area of Oslo. Trying to find out more about if this is true or not. Lots of Islamaphobics in the US spreading false rumors.
