My room looked much like yours so I think the “couch” is by design. The Syttende Mai breakfast in the restaurant was 5-star (the students are still talking about it), and I didn’t have food at the restaurant on the ground floor, but I did get coffee or a beer a couple of times, and the prices weren’t too bad. Thanks for the post – it was fun to revisit!
