Was on southbound last October from Kirkenes to Bergen. I thought the size of the ship was just nice and cosy vs the bigger MS Trollfjord which we met in Trondheim.

“Multe also offers ice-cream, including the unusual flavours of Pilsner, Tørrfisk and Brunost” – that was my first order and all three flavours together.

“One of my favourite spots is at the very front of the ship directly underneath the bridge. The only downside is it gets very windy here!” – yes love that spot and got my beanie blown off and into the sea.

Another facility which is useful for travellers who like to travel light is the self service laundry. Price for wash & dry was reasonable and the laundry room was tidy and clean.

Overall, food was good especially the sit down dinners and staff were helpful & friendly. I felt the prices of their short land excursions were on the high side but then it was a good way to see a bit more of the country.

Hopefully one day will get the chance to do northbound … on MS Nordlys again!

Everything you said was true. Let me add the food was amazing. I had the best pork I ever tasted. The scenery was out of this world. The staff, sweet, kind, friendly. I will do this again.
