My wife and I were in Oslo in Sept 2019 when she was hit by a hooligan on an e-scooter flying down the Opera House ramp. He fell off and it hit her resulting in a severely broken leg. The criminal coward ran away. Following this it took us 10 days for our hopeless travel insurers to get us back to the UK. It took 6 months to gain some sort of walking. Holiday ruined and 10 days living in the Scandic Byporten.

I wrote to the city Mayor and received a reply. The staff at the very small A&E hospital were infuriated at the amount of “accidents” being reported as a result of these scooters. Let’s hope the restrictions are toughened.

We aim to return in November 2021 and your Oslo book looks just the thing. This time looking to stay in Amerikalijnen.
