Perhaps it is also regional. Better the local stone you have than one that is far away and unreachable. Objectively speaking, however, Norway’s stone seems to require quite a long, strenuous hike to reach the height of it, whereas Denmark’s stone seems comfortably available without too much work. There is something to be said for that as well.
