He gave us the history of the church, and we enjoyed a wonderful cheese tasting and delicious lunch with the most gorgeous view. I highly recommend visiting this tiny town on the fjord.

My main memory is a tour of the Stave Church where women sat on one side and men on the other so that when the devil came he would get the women first! Well worth a visit
